Dear friends of the Bill Blount Ministry.

I ended 2011 with rejoicing. Though we have faced a tough year in 2011 we continued to see our God bring us through even though there were times when we didn’t know exactly how. Praise God for the success of the surgery that I had on my foot. It is healing well and I rejoice in the good health that has allowed me to stay in the battle.

I continue to see God open up doors to preach, sing, win the lost and stir God’s people in various manner of meetings. The newest door of opportunity has been the open door to be a part with the Rock Of Ages Prison Ministry.

The year of 2012 has begun with great joy. Last week we rejoiced to see 9 come to Christ in the prison service where I preached. I then had the joy to preach and sing at this year’s first Michigan Midwestern Baptist fellowship meeting. God moved in a great way and stirred all of us to great encouragement and commitment.

Praise God for the meetings that have already been booked for this year and there looks to be the promise of a renew of more instead of the limiting because of the economy. God continues to confirm that this ministry is needed greatly. Though I know that He can do it without me, yet He has seen fit to allow me the great joy of having this ministry. I  identify much with Paul when he said in II Corinthians 4:1, 6 & 7  ” Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have         received mercy, we faint not; “ 6 “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.”  I am greatly encouraged and excited about 2012 and still being in the fight.

Once again, I am asking God to touch your heart to open the door to me to have a part in the ministry there in your church. I believe that most of you know that God has seen fit to work in my ministry in Revival Meetings, Mission Conferences, Soul-Winning Conferences, Special Music Concerts, Special Training to share with Pastors in the training of their people some things that He has allowed me to learn in over 46 years of ministry.

I want to again pour out my heart of thanks for your prayer and financial support. We all remember: Romans 10:15 “And how shall they preach, except they be sent?” Or I Corinthians 9:7 “Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges?” In the matter of the work of “Deputation” a missionary seeks support and prayer from those who would “Deputize” that missionary to go and do the work in places where they are not able to go. That is what I am endeavoring to do, and God is the one who is blessing it. Praise God, and thank you for letting me be you’re missionary.
